I am a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with 16 years of nursing experience, the majority of which has been dedicated to hospice and palliative care. Throughout my career, I have developed a passion for compassionate, patient-centered care, with a strong emphasis on improving comfort, well-being, and quality of life.
Through years of caring for patients in their homes, I witnessed firsthand how some individuals experienced meaningful symptom relief with medical cannabis, including those who reported greater benefits than with traditional opioid-based treatments alone. These experiences sparked my interest in medical cannabis as an alternative or complementary therapeutic option and inspired me to help patients explore individualized approaches to symptom management.
At Tier One Counseling Collective, I provide medical cannabis evaluations and patient education, helping individuals make informed decisions about whether medical cannabis may be an appropriate option for their healthcare needs. I believe every patient deserves to feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout their healthcare journey.
When I’m not working, I enjoy traveling and spending time with my husband, our three children, and our two dogs. I’m grateful for my Tier Onecircle of family and friends. The relationships I have with them remind me how important compassion and connection are, and how much the people around us can shape our lives.
