Individual Therapy

Individual therapy is a space created just for you. A steady, supportive place to sort through what feels heavy, confusing, painful, or simply stuck. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship patterns, life transitions, grief, identity questions, or emotional burnout, therapy offers a place to slow down, understand what’s happening beneath the surface, and begin to heal.

My work is grounded in evidence-based practices and guided by current research in neuroscience, attachment theory, and trauma-informed care. This means the approaches we use are not just compassionate and intuitive, they are also supported by science and shown to be effective in helping people regulate emotions, change patterns, and build psychological resilience.

I integrate modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), attachment-based therapy, parts-based and inner child work, and nervous-system-informed (somatic) approaches. These methods help clients understand how thoughts, emotions, body responses, and early experiences interact, and how to gently retrain the brain and nervous system toward safety, flexibility, and connection.

In our work, we may focus on:

  • Anxiety, panic, and chronic worry

  • Depression, low mood, and emotional numbness

  • Trauma and complex trauma

  • Relationship and attachment patterns

  • Life transitions and identity shifts

  • Grief and loss

  • Boundaries, people-pleasing, and burnout

  • Shame, self-criticism, and self-worth

  • Emotional regulation and stress recovery

Sessions are collaborative and individualized. Some days are insight-oriented, helping you make sense of long-standing patterns. Other days are skills-focused, building practical tools drawn from evidence-based interventions to help your nervous system settle and your mind regain clarity. Always, the pace is guided by safety, consent, and your readiness.

Therapy is not about “fixing” you. It is about understanding the intelligent ways your system learned to survive, and then using research-supported methods to help you feel more regulated, more empowered, and more at home in yourself.

Healing happens in safe connection. This is a space where your story is honored, your nervous system is respected, and your growth is supported with both compassion and science.
